Listen man, you need to take something. I think you are insane and need to be committed. We are entering a depression worldwide. The price of oil has plummeted. Rumor is, even mighty Dubai’s airline had to be bailed out by Abu Dhabi.
well dont knw what delusional state ppl are tryin convince ppl..80% expat population, locals dont need houses and dont buy in freehold areas faraway for old dubai, the whole5 years has 85% flipping business(ve done it myself),ppl loose job visa canceled, sponsered family cancled, children drop out schools, this market can be transparent many reaons all vested into deep history ppl who lived here knw that, rules keep changing weekly if not daily, abudhabi has bought 40% emirates, terminal 3 belongs abudhabi, dubai will be called i heard UAE metro et etc. goverment still paints a rosy picture and not dealing with situation which deterirate even more coming months…
Unfortunately there is $500 billion in Option ARM’s that will be resetting interest rates and/or reached 125% cap on loan to value ratio very soon.
I believe that we will see some severe declines in housing values in next 12 months. This industry is getting the hose….

Come see for yourself how safe it is. I have been living in Mexico for the last seven years and i have never seen any act of violence, however i have seen a couple of road rage shootings in the L.A. Area when i used to live there. Violence is everywhere and Mexico is not the exception, it is my hope that you wil visit us and see for yourself how safe it is.
I never mentioned if I thought Mexico is dangerous (But it is! It has the highest kidnapping rate in the world. The number of people killed by drug cartels this year alone numbers in the hundreds) but if your real estate is priced right and cash-flow positive, then maybe it’s a good investment for someone who doesn’t care if they lose their life…I’ve been to Acapulco, and I will never go back again.
I cannot speak for Acapulco and why you would not go back. Come to Rosarito Beach and see for yourself why 15,600 have already discovered. If you want check this video that Fox News did recently about lower cost of living by clicking the following link: http://www.bajacoastline.com/Rosarito_Baja_News.html
If you knew me, the last thing you would ever think was that I was gullible. I’ve owned a very successful computer consulting and training company for 20 years, worked for a law firm, and come from a family whose philosophy is, ‘Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.”
I’m tenacious, do tons of research and have endless questions that I’m not shy about asking. So how did my husband and I get ourselves into trouble when we built a home in Mexico? Simple, we did not make sure that we had the right agent. Fortunately, it’s not to find the right agent as hard as it was 4 years ago when we moved to Mexico.
Rule #1: Find an agent that is a member of a reputable real estate organization. In our area of Rosarito and Ensenada that would be AMPI or APIR. It’s a small community and everyone knows who to work with.
If you are already working with an agent, ask them about their membership in one of these organizations. If they tell you they don’t belong because membership doesn’t mean anything, run, and run very fast. There is a reason why they are not members of any of the local Associations and you don’t want to be the person who finds out why.
The cartels are ON THE VERGE OF TAKING OVER THE COUNTRY! Are you kidding?
Mexico is a war zone. Do I get an AR-15 with my condo purchase? Better yet what about a Heckler and Koch UMP? Are those legal in Mexico? ACTUALLY WHO CARES WHAT IS LEGAL.
Buy a handgun, food, ammo or get the hell out of Mexico. The government might fall at any moment.
They are killing far more people in New orleans, Ohio, Texas, California and I don’t see running out of there or getting your ar-15 and being afraid for your life. How about those killings in Texas? or that serial killer in Ohio or the mass murders at high schools all over the country or the killings in Los Angeles over the drug wars.
But no! you have to bad mouth a country that has less crime than most metropolitan U.S. cities.
And you call Mexico dangereous! you got to be kidding.

Will I be kidnapped by a drug cartel and then ruthlessly shot when my family can’t come up with the $300,000 by noon the next day?
Mexico needs laws, then many more people will visit.
